We are gearing up for our return visit to Aggie Land at Aggie Con March 28th. You can check out the con at http://aggiecon.tamu.edu/ Aggie Con has always been a special place for Region Three, I know I have many fond memories of our trips there. Not to mention some amusing ones.

They have not put out a lot of details as to daily schedules, so we will announce a meet up time and place for Saturday when we get closer. We have not arranged for a Friday night gathering, but if there is enough interest, we can find something to do in a college town. The con runs from the entire weekend.

They say that free parking is available on campus from Friday March 27th after 5 pm until April 1st at 6 am. They also have some parking garages.

Our Dinner / Congress meeting will be at the Golden Corral March 28 Saturday night at 6:30 p m in their meeting room. Golden Corral is located on 700 E University Drive. Business goes better with food.

I found http://visitaggieland.com/ the best site to hunt for hotels and seems to be giving a discount for booking through them. Saving money and headaches in one shot. We don’t have an official hotel for the weekend, but as folks book, we will be letting the region know where the better places to stay are.

I need general head count from chapters who will be making the dinner by March 23. Please email me privately. I will also as we get closer ask which chapters are coming and who will be at the con.

Wear your shirts and bring your chapter flyers to plug the region. This is our first chance to start hooking new members before the movie coming out.

If you are looking for a short get away from home, there are other things to see in College Station, such as the George Bush Library and the Messina Hof Winery.
